In its beautiful historic centre the Rocca Roveresca stands out: it was built at the end of the XV century and designed by Francesco di Giorgio Martini, famous architect from Siena.

Founded by the Gauls and then first roman colony on the Adriatic Sea, today Senigallia is a famous seaside resort that offers a city centre full of monuments along with beautiful velvet beaches.

Ostra is a medieval town with a very well preserved wall belt and many manor houses and churches. Morro d’Alba boasts a covered walkway known as “La Scarpa” and is the home of the exquisite red wine “Lacrima di Morro d’Alba”.

In the splendid setting of the 18th-century Villa del Balì is situated an Interactive Science-Center with a planetarium and an astronomical observatory that will charm children and adults.

Fossombrone is a town full of history: it was a Roman city, placed along the “Via Flaminia”.  route. Very close, there is the Furlo’s State Nature Reserve, protecting one of the most suggestive natural environment in the region. When you reach Urbino, you can really feel the Reinassance atmosphere, thanks to the city centre and the beautiful Ducal Palace, venue of Marche’s National Gallery.

The Fonte Avellana monastery dates back to the end of the X century and is famous for being mentioned in Dante’s Divine Comedy. At short distance, Frontone castle awaits you with its local delicacies and on the way back to Corinaldo you should not miss to see the group of gilded bronzes dating back to the Roman era in Pergola’s museum.

S. Lorenzo offers an archeological museum that tells the ancient history of the Cesano valley. Moving inland you will reach Arcevia, a beautiful fortress that defended the route between the Appennini mountains and the Adriatic sea. Around Arcevia you can wander among its nine castels, small walled towns dating back to the centuries XIV and XV.

In the area of the ancient Sentinum took place the famous “Battaglia delle Nazioni” that marked the supremacy of Romans over Gauls: the tale of this ancient Roman town is told in Sassoferrato by the Archeological Park of Sentinum and the Civic Museum. Genga offers many things to see: the castle, a beautiful Romanesque abbey, a neoclassical small temple and of course the evocative Frasassi caves. Moving to Fabriano, it is possible to visit the beautiful “Museo della Carta e della Filigrana” that offers guided tours in English and other foreign languages.

Birthplace of the Emperor Federico II, Jesi has a beautiful wall belt, the Palazzo della Signoria built in the XV century by Francesco di Giorgio Martini and the Civic Art Gallery with paintings by Lorenzo Lotto. In the area of production of the famous Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, you will find two museums about wine: the “Museo dell’Arte del Vino” in Staffolo and the “Museo Internazionale dell’etichetta del vino” in Cupramontana.

Roman colony built on the Picenean settlement, in Osimo you can visit the S. Leopardo Cathedral and the caves dug in the sandstone underneath the town centre.
After visiting Offagna fortress, famous for the medieval re-enactments that take place here during the summer, you can reach the Conero Park. Here nature and sea perfectly combine  to create a wonderful landscape, together with the two beautiful towns of Sirolo and Numana.
