The Noble Manor Houses

From 1400 on, all of the Corinaldo noble families built sumptuous manor houses, both for their homes and to demonstrate their prestige. These residences underwent continuous renovations and embellishment over the course of time, so much that they became real architectural treasures. The Palazzo Amati on Via del Corso and the first Palazzo Orlandi on Via del Velluto and the 1500s loggia in Palazzo Cesarini Romaldi on Piazza il Terreno are all renaissance era buildings. The maximum expression of these palaces was built in the eighteenth century, when they were renovated according to new domestic needs, including the Palazzo Fata Ottaviani in Piazza il Terreno, Palazzo Palma Marangoni on Via del Corso, Palazzo Sandreani on Via Saint Maria Goretti.  casa-ridolfi-1
